March 2 Field Trip

…..just a little more information.
Arrival
Our school day begins at 7:30 everyday. Those students coming in late will not have sufficient time to complete morning work and will fall behind. To ensure that your child’s day begins and flows smoothly, please arrive on time with all necessary materials for the day. If you come in late, drop by the office and get a tardy slip. Students may be dropped off at the gym doors beginning at 6:45. Students will remain in the gym until dismissed around 7:15 to go to their classes.
Leaving Early or Absentee
If you know ahead of time that your child will be leaving school early or will be absent, please send a note so that I can be prepared for their dismissal. Make sure that you send in a note for all absentees.
Take Home Folders
Your child will be bringing home a folder everyday. We use this for parent/teacher communication. Please check the folder nightly for special notes or homework practice. I will check folders each morning and look for notes, lunch money, etc. When sending in lunch money, please put it in an envelope with child's name and teacher's name.
Medication
Teachers are not allowed to administer any medication to students. Prescription medication is kept in the office. See agenda for directions on bringing medication to school. **If you want your child to be able to take Aspirin or Tylenol, you must send in their own bottle to be kept in the office.
Snacks
We will have a morning snack each day around 9:30. Each student will be responsible for bringing in their own snack each day. A nutritious snack is recommended. The following are some suggestions: animal crackers, cheese & crackers, raisins, pretzels, Chex mix, fruit, granola bars…
