A Little About Me

     I am Scarlett Mitchell.  This is my family.  I am married to William and have two wonderful children.  We live in Lascassas and attend Walter Hill Church of Christ.  I love living in this community.  We have many wonderful friends here. My husband and I are originally from two small country towns.  I am from Red Boiling Springs, TN and he is from Livingston, TN. 

     Over the past eighteen years, I have been in and out of teaching.  I was a stay-at-home mom for several years, a teacher for 10 years, an interim for intervention, and an educational assistant twice for a combined time of one year.  I've taught sixth, fourth, and first grades.  I have a bachelor's degree in K-8, a master's degree in instructional leadership, and an educational specialist degree in curriculum and instruction.  

     Lascassas Elementary is a wonderful place to work surrounded with kind and helpful co-workers that feel more like family.  The children are sweet, respectful, and come from amazing families.  I am blessed to be apart of LES.
